Cooking in Bloom equips children with the knowledge and skills to make nutritious choices that support lifelong health and well-being. Through hands-on cooking experiences, we teach the connection between food, sustainability, and a healthy lifestyle. Rooted in faith and service, our program empowers young learners to care for their bodies, their communities, and the environment—planting seeds of hope for a healthy future.

 

 

Denise Albert

Owner & Instructor

Denise Albert is a wife and mother of two children. During her time as a stay-at-home mom she became passionate about volunteerism.

Denise holds a Bachelors degree in Dietetics and a Masters degree in Public Health. For 15 years, she worked as a clinical dietitian in multiple hospital settings where she was an educator and advocate for nutrition and how it impacts overall health and well-being.

Her love of cooking and spending time with her children inspired her to launch Cooking in Bloom.
